Start up processes

Does anybody know how to manage to startup processes? Meaning, can we control what apps automatically start running when the phone is turned on?

I find it very annoying when I go into the setting menu and look under the running apps and the list is about as long as the list for installed apps. I dont need Tango, Tikl, Browser, etc all to be started up in the background when the phone is booted...

Autostarts in the market will be your best friend.

will do, so far its amazing. I'll do a thorough full day test tomorrow... i dont charge my phone during work so i'll have fll info on the app+kernel+ROM=excellence
