** this is fixed. Solution is to look at Settings /Device Management for avialable and used space. Samsung Files app shows used space not available space.
Original question:
How much free space did your Note8 unlocked come with? Mine has 17GB and I cannot find the OS and default apps are taking all of it. I looked in the default Samsung Files app but it does not show me how much GB the folder has in it (like Windows).
Are there better alternatives?
I did not check the available space (Android Noob) before using the Smart Sync from my iPhone.
I moved all of the Music, Pics, and Videos folders to the SDcard so I those three are not filling it up.
I had 330 messages transferred over - where can I see those to delete them - stock Samsung messages app?
