Starting over from scratch

Ok so I was wonderin is it possible to statrt out from scratch so to speak? I have all of my nandroid backups offloaded to my laptop and was thinking of formatting my sd card and sbf-in back to stock and re-rooting. what would be the best step

Flashing the maderstock zip in bootstrap would be the easiest route. If you're comfortable using RSDlite then flash the sbf. After that root with z4.

Im comfortable with both of those methods but further developments have caused me to have to get a new phone. I was in the middle of flashing it with RSDlite and the battery died:-( Unfortunately it would not charge, it would just have the liberty logo on the screen. So I made sure i was dead and fragged the usb port a little by putting an old broke charger in upside down then taking it to vzw. Now my plan is to clean out my SD card and start from scratch and re-root...I still have the .apk for z4root saved as well as a copy of my latest Titanium Backup uploaded to dropbox, so I should be good to go.
