Static on call

I just started having an issue where when on a call, people sound weird like a blown speaker in a car. Is it possible the speaker has blown? Would this be something warranty would cover? Hope I have a warranty plan. I'll have to check.

I just got this too, sounds like the earpiece speaker is blown to me. Fairly sure I caused it by taking the phone to the rifle range in my pocket, though it hasn't damaged any other of my phones.

As I have the H815 I'm not going to try for a warranty claim. The earpiece speaker is under $10 from several places and it looks like it's an easy fix.

Just an FYI if you make a call while rapid charging the phone it interferes with the earpiece with static and distortion. Not sure if it fully applies to your case but thought I'd mention it in case.

I replaced my earpiece speaker last week and it sounds great now. It was complicated by the first seller sending the wrong part but I got the right one the second time. Replacing the earpiece speaker was super easy, this phone is really great to work on.
