Static sound then no audio when recording

Hello, since about 1 month ago, my PH-1 has stopped recognizing any audio when recording. I hear a sharp staticy sound, followed by nothing. This sound occurs when I record video both with the camera app and Snapchat app. The phone also recognizes my voice when I say "Ok Google," but it does not recognize anything I say afterwards. If I can figure out how to provide a sound byte, I will do so.

It's probably a hardware problem, so it would have to go into a repair shop.
