Status Bar Display

Pretty basic I know. How do I get the time, battery percentage, signal strength and notifications to show? I didn't notice until this morning. If I want to see, I I have to pull them down.

I can only see the status bar if lock screen or in an app. Otherwise no status bar is displayed. Please help.

I'm not sure there is a setting for that in stock android. Are you using nova launcher perhaps? If so, check out the settings under "look and feel", there is an option to show or hide the bar.

This is a glitch or a setting somewhere on Samsung’s. My wife’s note 8 has done the same, the status bar is gone and I can’t work out how to get it back on it either. It’s really annoying as so much information is lost and not easy to find because of this.

That did the trick. Not sure how the setting was changed in Nova Launcher. Thanks very much.
