Status bar faded??

Does it look faded compared to the homescreen or is it a trick of the eye??
Id have thought bright areas would get burn-in first?

He's right... it's not "faded"... they status bar got lighter in the Jellybean update.

On one of my older phones tho that black area ended up getting burnt into the screen. If I looked at a white image for example... I could still see that the area where the status bar would be darker.

Nah to me it looks wrong against black backgrounds man. They should have gave an option.
A light grid or transparency slider would be even better
