On Note 1-4, when the swipe down the top of screen, you get the notification panels with clock, date, battery status right? When the Edge happens to be the top of screen, that is no longer possible? Whenever you swipe, you will only get the edge panels and no edge panels has the 2 information that i want (Clock, Battery status) especially when I'm playing games and some games don't turn the other way.

I too would like to have a panel that tells me the time and battery of the phone. Without being in that night clock mode thing. Please forgive me... I cannot remember the name of the feature for the life of me

I always make sure the edge is on the bottom for that reason. No biggie

Sent from my Note Edge.

Not all apps support turning of screen. A few of my full screen apps always appear with the edge at the top and you can't turn it around, even with screen rotation on. Edge being on top of the screen is actually the "right way up".
I've searched and found that you can do a "quick double swipe" but i have tried many times and only managed to call out the scrolling bar a few times AND your screen needs to be off in the first place which still doesn't address my problem.

The app "Edge Navigation" on Google Play shows time, date, day, remaining battery % plus does a whole lot of other stuff.

I find it so useful that I put it at the top of my list in the thread that I posted on this forum "List of Edge Specific/compatible Apps"

Sorry, can't post a link to it as this forum won't let me post links until I have more posts.
