Stepped on my phone?

My father accidentally stepped on my phone two days ago. The screen itself didn't got damaged but when I open up google chrome or my settings, the background color is grey but with a reddish tint. The thing that worried me was the reddish tint, I never noticed it there before. I was wondering if my phone got discolored?

Every other color seems fine but whenever I open something that have a light grey tint, it appears slightly reddish. Could it be because my father stepped on my phone or do I need to visit an Ophthalmologist?

Firstly, I hope you weren't too harsh on your Dad!

I would assume that it would be too much of a coincidence that you're seeing the distorted colours - after your Dad stepped on your phone. So, if I were you. I wouldn't worry about it. I'd say that the incident has definitely played a part in this.

You could get it checked up by someone. Just to be on the safe side. I'm not sure how much you pay for an appointment.

But, me. Personally. I wouldn't worry about it.

I've had tons of friends that have broken phones because of damage. But, there's no sign of external damage on the phone.

Just because it looks OK. Doesn't mean it is.

No, I wasn't harsh at all. I knew it wasn't his fault. :-$

There are not many here experienced in repairs, or who visit this Q&A forum anyhow.

It may improve anyway. Save the ophthalmologist costs for now.
