Steps needed to de-Bing rooted ED03?

If I have stock rooted ED03 is there a post or guide that explains how to remove Bing? I have searched for a couple days and haven't really found anything. I think you just need something like root explorer and rename the Bing apk files. Is that it? It seems as though that wouldn't remove Bing from the browser. I know there is a packaged ED01 debinged rom but I would like to try ED03.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Renaming the Bing apk will only remove the app. In order to completely remove Bing you will need to do a lot more, including replacing the browser

It's easier to flash a debinged ROM, IMO. I looked into debinging back when it was still on Eclair, and wow. It is a very involved process, as Verizon has essentially put "Bing bits" into most everything on the phone...

I would go with the ComRom 1.3. You will keep the ED03 modem this way.

I probably will, I just wanted to try stock first to see how I like it.
