I'm in the process of selling my MXPE. I am using the 6p as my daily driver, and depending on my location and/or situation, I use the iPhone SE or the BB Classic as my backup.

Which model did you purchase? You can use something like DevCheck https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...apps/details?id=flar2.devcheck&token=89ujCFEE to determine which model you received (look on the System page, at the SKU) - it should be H1511. If it shows H1512 then you have the International model and that won't work on Verizon.I purchased Huawei 6p unlocked from Amazon.
Ok there is just too much here not to speak up... first, I got my 6P while on AT&T, popped in the SIM card and it worked. I switched to Project Fi to save money, popped in the SIM card and it worked... unfortunately the reception here in middle of a very nice size city was terrible while driving around and taking calls in my vehicle. I stopped using Project Fi in less then a week after 2 dropped calls in 5 minutes in my vehicle in the middle of the cities. I switched to Verizon by going into a store and picked up a new SIM card, popped it in and it worked. Verizon has always worked really well around here for me.
So, there is my switching to Verizon story and my poor experience with Project Fi story all in one.
Wow, sorry to hear you've had problems, as I mentioned earlier it works very well for me in a town of about 60,000 people. of course as I mentioned above YMMV![]()
I know this is a few months old but I had no such luck. I purchased Huawei 6p unlocked from Amazon. I called Verizon before receiving my 6P because my current Galaxy S4 uses Micro Sim and 6P uses Nano. Verizon instructed me to a Verizon store to pick up a nano sim and said it would work fine. I did. When my 6P arrived, I called Verizon again to activate, when I gave them the device ID they said it was not recognized in their network, all they had to do was complete a form and add it and they would call me back when active...it should take 24 hrs. I received no call. I called back. They said it could take up to 72 hrs. When it is active they will call back. I received no call. I called back after 72 hours and they flat out said, oh, they should have told you, this device is not compatible. I went into the verizon store hoping to find competence. They also would not activate as device ID not found. I then called Verizon and tried to activate the new nano sim using with my number on my daughters iphone 5s which also uses nano sim. When I tried they said the Verizon nano sim was not compatible with iphone 5s. BS. Verizon is going out of their way to not activate my nano sim to use in my Nexus 6P
lol, I did the same thing. Used my 6P on Verizon for 3 months then moved to Fi.
To keep on topic, as already stated, if you have a nano-SIM just pop it in and you're good. One caveat, voicemail. I just could NOT get it working correctly once I had advanced calling enabled. Verizon doesn't (or didn't) support the native visual voicemail feature in the Google dialer and Verizon's visual voicemail app in the Play Store was not (at the time) compatible with Nexus devices.
