Steps to root Nexus One?

I know it sounds simple but I wanna know proper steps to root a nexus 1. Pretty much know how you unlock it. What you do after the bootloaders is unlocked?

Flash a custom recovery. Most use either Amon RA or Clockworkmod (I use Clockwork, but it mostly comes down to preference). Go to xda-developers Nexus One forum for instructions on how to flash your recovery. Then you can flash a rom (ie- Cyanogen). Be careful though, while you can screw up a ROM flash with no permanent damage, screwing up a recovery flash can brick your Nexus. Make sure you follow instructions well.

Your best bet, and a really simple way of doing it, is to use the SuperOneClick. It's ridiculously simple. Just download the program to your computer, hook up your phone to your computer, run the app and voila. Takes about 2 minutes to root. From that point you download and install ROM Manager from the Market... then open up ROM Manager and flash Clockwork Recovery from there. At that point you can download any ROM you want to flash, boot into recovery, MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP of your stock system setup, and flash. Way easier than we had it back in the G1 days.

Try evil's Desire ROM. It's available on XDA..best Desire ROM I tried..and I tried them all.

question does SuperOneClick work with nexus one 2.3.3? When i got the OTA of 2.3.3 my phone was unrooted. I am trying to root the phone again but no luck with previous methods.
