Sticking wallpaper

Sorry for making individual threads for all of my random issues I'm running into, but I was not able to find a search result for this answer.

When sliding back and forth through the different "home pages" (I'm not sure really what to call them), sometimes my wallpaper seems to get stuck in that position. For example, more often than not I'll unlock my phone and my wallpaper is stuck to the position of the farthest left "home page." It fixes easily when I merely touch the screen and move it a little on the home page and it centers itself, but is there a way to remove this weird little glitch altogether?

Sorry to double post, but there are 63 views and no replies.

I was able to replicate the issue constantly. If I opened an App on the Far left slide, and then used the Home button to get out, the wallpaper behind the center slide would be stuck as if on the far left slide until I moved the screen. Does anyone else have this little glitch? Or is it just a common nuisance that I'll just have to ignore?

I just tried that with two apps and could not reproduce that behavior. ???

Not rooted. Standard Sense launcher.

The wallpaper is just where you left it...nothing to fix. Recenter by moving the screen a bit.

I'm aware that the wallpaper isn't "going away" and how to recenter it. I just want to verify that some other people have this little nuance and its not just my phone or some app I have on my phone interfering.

FrankXS: Really? It does it on any slide that I go to, if i open a fullscreen app and then hit Home to exit, my wallpaper is slightly offcenter on the center slide when it comes up.

I did it exactly that way I think. I went to my furthest left screen, hit applications and ran an app - left it be and hit Home. It returns to the centered wallpaper on the middle home screen.

Did you pull up the ^ app drawer or did you run an app that was saved to the slide/screen/whatever its called? I just discovered that if you pull up an app from the app drawer, it doesn't do it, but it definitely does it every time on mine if its saved to the screen

[Edit] Doing it from within a folder seems to almost always guarantee it. Doing it from a screen sometimes doesn't do it. I know for a fact Ringdroid does it, as do both Facebook and Google+

I have experienced it before. I am using a live wallpaper now so I don't notice it anymore, but it never bothered me before either.

Okay. Just wanted to make sure this was normal behavior then, and from what it sounds like, it is.

I pulled from the app drawer on my previous test (I have no apps on the furthest left screen). Anyway... hold on a sec and I'll do it your way...

Edit: Minute or three later... seriosly, still can't duplicate. I put an app icon on the furthest left screen. I ran that app from the furthest left screen (only app on the screen). I left it open and simply hit the Home capacitive key and it returned to my middle home screen with the normal centered wallpaper.

Perhaps it's an artifiact of the differnce in the aspect ratio of the wallpaper. Mine is Landscape 960x800 (equals aspect ratio of 960/800=1:1.2).

???

It must be a difference in aspect ratio of some non-stock wallpaper. I recently downloaded a couple from Cyber Warrior's thread (see http://forums.androidcentral.com/wa...htc-thunderbolt-wallpapers-cyber-warrior.html), and noticed the image will move off center more and more when swiping to the left or right of the main home screen. It will stick that way if left there. But, the image always returns to center when going back to the main home screen. Still VERY cool wallpapers in that thread, especially the first one!!!!! :D

Actually, what you describe is by design. And Cyber Warrior's wallpapers are the correct aspect ratio (1:1.2 Horizontal). I am using one too. They are supposed to move left/right a little when you change home screens, but should return to middle centered when you hit home.

I would agree that it might be a wallpaper sizing issue, but I'm using a stock HTC Wallpaper presently and I still get the issue.
