Am still amazed how good this display is and overall performance is being a 2014 model.

Yup, and that's not even AMOLED! I gave that one up just because of the screen of the Tab S, but I do miss the S-Pen dearly.

I wish Samsung comes out with a new Note tablet soon, and hope that it doesn't take the Tab S2 screen ratio :(

Yes, I resisted upgrading to Tab S since I love S-pen. I do sync my notes between my Note edge and this.

*sigh* same. I'd spend the cash for a new Note, but wont get the Tab. I can't imagine tablet life without my s-pen..

Come on Samsung, give us a new Note!

Yes, the Note 10.1 2014 is still a very fast tablet with an excellent screen. I just cannot see what Samsung can do better here. I would have loved it if the latest S-Pen capabilities make it to the Note 10.1 S-pen and if Samsung allows some of its centers to replace the batteries. Otherwise, the tablet is perfectly usable today, probably faster than most. Of course, Samsung can make it lighter and/or can introduce a new processor but the tablet would not gain appreciably more. An update to Android 6.0 would be appreciated, but it is not strictly necessary. Of course, if Samsung intends not to replace the tablet, it should provide a mechanism by which the tablet can be kept current and recent apps would run on it.

However, it seems to me that for this size of tablets, Samsung is betting on Windows 10. I do not think that it is about to undermine its Win10 strategy by releasing another large Note. For the time, the Note Pro (with a 12'' screen) is going to be with an equivalent running Win10.

Yeah, I'm actually using it at this very moment, and I love this tablet. I really don't see / haven't seen another Android tablet out there that can come close to or compair even graphics-wise to the Note 10.1 (2014 Edition).

I completely agree. I've had this tablet for almost 2 1/2 years now and still am completely happy with the way it performs, especially after the Lollipop update. I don't plan to replace it anytime soon, but I still do need to figure out the battery issues with it.

Yes, love this tablet. Smooth graphics on Riptide GP2 and other less intensive games. Haven't tried any really heavy games, but I'm sure many have. I too don't see anything out there that compares to it right now... past or present for it's size. Of course, many people feel that way if they're happy with what they got. Still on Kitkat 4.4.4, but thinking about going 5.1.1. We'll see!

I think it's time to change battery since you have been using it for sometime. Even my note drops from 30% to zero sometimes. Will probably change the battery soon.
