Another day and the month is over but still haven't received the March update. Anyone having the same situation? I thought that one advantage of having Pixel is its constant and earlier update (patches)?

If it we're me, I'd jump on the Google One app and contact Google support. There isn't any reason to not have the latest update, although it's a good suggestion, you shouldn't have to sideload an update on the Pixel. Like you said, that's one of the reasons you get it.

Contact Google support for some help.

I agree with you shouldn't have to wait this long , but I doubt Google support can do anything.

I've already contacted Google for that and as common reaction, no action at all. I need probably to resort to manual updation but here's the thing, isn't that much to do considering that a month is already passed?

My point is, there is something wrong with Google's update that it didn't reach all Google phones included on the update...

Might be a problem specific to your device

As I asked before, can I return my Pixel 3 "due to not receiving updates"?

I contacted the Google support (including the store where I bought the device) but none of them is responding :-(

(Damn! the April updates is now rolling and mine still haven't got the March update. My Nokia 8 Sirocco, an Android One device, already received the latest updates)

If you want help from Google or your carrier you're going to have to push harder..... you can't just wait on them or nothing will happen. If your phone's not getting the updates you paid for in the purchase price you need to get that fixed.

Have you tried a factory reset yet? Sometimes pulling the Sim card out then checking for an update over Wi-Fi also works.

I did tried that including replacing SIM card with two different service providers. Still not updating. It keeps showing "Preparing system update" since then and do nothing. I wanted to return it but the store is saying that it is not part of warranty and they offering me new phone to buy instead. Why would I buy another "brick to hit my head when I have a brick already hitting my head?"

Anyway, I downloaded all the required files for side loading (flashing) but there is this warning that the phone should be showing latest software message or otherwise, if it is being updated (as I assumed because of "Preparing system update" message) and force to do side loading, I might brick the phone system. The phone is perfectly working - only not updating.

The Google support team (or whatever) is still silent... as if they don't exist. At least, they should be telling me something that will lessen the disappointment...

I did not get a notification for the April update. I checked for an update in settings>system. It said my battery saver was on, which it was. As soon as I clicked the battery saver off, the update appeared and started downloading.

It is an advantage, you should have had it by now.
What carrier are you on?

I'm using BATELCO... is service provider matters? The updates are coming directly from Google, isn't?
