Still having issues with group messages and texting after switching from iPhone

Hello!

So I just switched over to the s7 edge from an iP6 - love it so far!

However, I am struggling with the group message issue. I deactivated imessage and facetime on all my other Apple devices. I've been using Textra as my texting app. I have MMS enabled and the behavior is set to Legacy (vs. System). I'm able to initiate group conversations with iPhones but they are not always able to respond to me. The issue happens intermittently with no discernable pattern.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on how to fix?

Thank you!

Based on what I've heard you have to have the iPhone users delete any thread your apart of. I've had the same issue. I learned this from another user that switched from iPhone as well. Apple makes it almost impossible to leave them. Lol

Oh boy that is annoying. I've heard that from some people. Anyone hear anything else?

More than likely that is the issue. Have them delete any iMessage from you in a group or individual. Also make sure they have "send as SMS" switched on in settings. If their iPhone shows you as having an iPhone it will attempt to send it as iMessage first and if that isn't switched on then it won't deliver.

When I switched I used the apple deregister tool as well and still had to have other people delete oir conversation thread and in some cases they even had to turn their iMessage off then back on again after deleting them. It was a real pain. Hope u get it worked out.
