So I decided I was going to be a rebel and I tried the iPhone 7 plus haha.... pretty needless to say I still have my Note 5 and am thinking of switching back to it currently. Do you all still like using your Note 5? I considered picking up a Pixel XL but don't really want to spend the $$ and figure I like the Note 5 and if the Pixel XL isn't a huge upgrade might as well use the Note 5 and see what the Note 8 has in store!

I have had the 2,3,4,jumped to the 7...well we know that outcome. On the N5
Great device. No complaints.

I have also had the N1 thru N Edge, Went to the N7 and am now on a N5. I miss external storage but it handles Marshmallow better than my Note Edge does. N5 is a great device and Samsung seems to be giving us bits from the N7.

Cheers,
BR
RIP Note 7

I still like my Note 5. I've had it for almost a year now. I have to remember to close all apps though because sometimes an app will drain the battery 30-40% in just an hour if I don't.

The last few days, I did a test where I barely use the phone at all in two day after I charged the battery to 100%. After two days of little use, the battery was at 90%. I started using it after the two days and still got two hours screen time and again, I had to make sure I closed out all apps after using though I did forget once or twice.

The standby time on this phone is amazing. Mine is rooted using a debloated ROM but I can't tell you which one because I don't remember.

I still have a Note 4 and Note Edge as well as an S7 Edge that I use daily as well (four T-Mobile lines).

The Note 5 is one of the best, if not the best Smartphone I've ever used. There is nothing in the phone world that I would replace this with both on Android or iOS.

Sure, the early ones I received had some issues but this latest one, four plus months has rocked!

I love it, and with the upcoming Grace UI from the Note 7 I think I can easily hold off until the Note 8.

to b honest im on the brink, and thats only because im so used to swapping o.s and c9nstantly upgrading to the new model. but my N5 runs strong still only issue is the one stated above, which is battery life hase gotten cut short atleast by 90mins for me running my N5 as my daily driver

Certainly the best phone I ever had. My note 5 produced in July 2016 and I bought it brand new in September as a replacement for 'tired' SGS 7 so it's still a young boy ). Going to keep it at least for a couple of years more.

I love my Note5 despite The lack of expandable storage. I kept my Note5 longer than any phone that I owned having owned mines since September 2015.

I've had the note 2, 3, 4 , 5 and 7. Two 7 notes later I went back to a new Note 5 but Verizon did not have another 64gb, so I was forced to take a 32gb.
I am addicted to the Spen and can't wait for the Note8.
