Still missing the Google Photos redesign?

Is this just a server side update that hasn't hit me yet? I recieved an app update through the Play Store a couple weeks ago that brought the new app icon, but still don't see any of the new features inside, like the map.

Anyone else still waiting on this?

Which phone do you have? You're looking in the Search tab, right?

Thanks! I still have the search box on top, not the tab on the bottom. Along the bottom I still have the photos, albums, for you, and sharing tabs. I'm on a OnePlus 7 Pro.

Hmm, then you're probably right, it's a server-side rollout. You could try clearing the app cache/data in Settings>Apps, then reopen Photos and let it resync, but I suspect that won't do anything.

That's weird, I think those changes are not a server side switch. Which Photos app version and system build do you have? Do you get the bottom bar with the search option in there? If so, what happens if you tap Search? Could you post a couple of screenshots to see your layout?

Yeah, not sure why they did that. I guess it looks like the letter P in a pinwheel, rather than an actual pinwheel?
