Still no 2.2 update for me

Everyone else is getting it, what gives?

It is not telling you that the update is not available. It is telling you that the check for update is not available.

Bad signal area? Perhaps their servers are taking a beating?

Are you rooted?

Same thing here. We have two Droid X in our office. Mine can't find the update, but the other phone had no problem and is updating now.

Edit: Crap...the other phone just installed and is up and running with Froyo. The phones are on the same business account.

As I mentioned in the other thread similar to this. Perhaps VZW has not fully rolled it out yet.

I remember that it took some time for google to push the update out to all nexus one owners. When I say some time, I mean weeks.

Have the same problem i only got my phone three weeks ago though. The thing is i used to be able to check for updates and it would say none available. Within the last two weeks it says check for updates not available.

Check your social applications sync settings. If the "wifi only" box is checked, you won't be able to pull the update. Uncheck the box and restart your phone. You should be able to pull the update. (Can't take credit for this idea -- got it from others when I was having the same problem). Menu, data manager, data delivery, social applications, then uncheck wifi only box.

umm....it appears that it's now stuck not finding anything.. rats

Ah ha. The secret is reboot after you change the wifi social settings...should have read that a bit closer. I'm updating now.

Thats odd if they took it down I got my froyo this am about 4 am and over the WiFi's
