I ordered mine on the 16th with delivery for the 23rd and no shipping confirmation yet. See other people are getting theirs is giving me hope though! It's my first smartphone, I have never been so excited about a phone before. I feel like a puppy looking out the window waiting for his master to come home.

I wouldn't worry about not having shipping confirmation yet. Mine was emailed at about 3:00 AM this morning for delivery TODAY. Verizon told me repeatedly that it would be shipped "by the 23rd", and here it is 7/21 and I will have it by this afternoon.

If you purchased it in store... shouldn't they just give you the phone right there? Confused on why you need tracking for a phone that goes from the store to your hand

Sigh. VZW cancelled my order at 1am on 7/15 since I ordered internationally while I was traveling for work. Fraud protection they said. Had my wife re-order it on 7/15 at 3PM and still no shipping confirmation. Man, I need this phone by 7/23/10 as I leave for a month long buisness trip. No first come first serve?

Ordered mine from wal-mart online Friday for $149.00 and tracking shows I will receive tomorrow. Hopefully no issues.

How are you getting that price? I just checked wal-mart online and if I add it to an existing contract they want to charge me $249.99. I am trying to replace my Storm1...and am eligible for the new every two discount. If I buy it at Verizon they would only charge me $149.00 but they are backordered until August.

The $149.99 is for a new contract. Wal-Mart does their cell phone sales through LetsTalk.com, which is a great website for new contracts, but sucks for contract extensions. Wirefly.com has it for $179.99 with a contract extension but keep in mind that these third-party retailers don't give you the NE2 discount.

I tried calling every store locally but they are all sold out, and I tried my luck at talking Wal-Mart down, but nothing worked. I ended up just ordering it online from Verizon and checked out with a total of $96 after my rebates and PRMCD10 discount.

I just called *611 to ask about it and you cannot track in store orders on the website. But they will send you an email when it ships.

CSR did mention Droid X orders are shipping a little sooner than predicted.

I went into the store on Monday the 19th and they were out of stock. I went ahead and ordered and the sales lady said it will be shipped by the 23rd. I have been reading online that any new orders will not be shipped until Aug 3rd....Anyone else see or hear this? Just called CSR and they could not give ma any certain day or time it would be shipped, just that it is Back-ordered... Hope i get it early next week..I don't have a phone and its killing me.

Go to Walmart, they have them and they are only $530.00 full retail over there. Trust me on this, they have them.

Ordered on 7/15 at 7am EST but it did not get processed until 4:30pm EST on 7/15.

Got my shipping notification on 7/19 and got my DX today.

Though VZ did a CRAPPY job packaging it. All they put was a tiny Fill Air bag (that was popped) and thats it! I could hear the DX sliding around in the box. It better not be messed up.

My girl ordered on 7/16 at 11pm EST. Her order didn't get processed until Monday 7/19. No idea when she will get hers.

Kick butt. After Verizon screwed up my first order that was placed at 1am on 7/15 I finally straightened it out and re-ordered on 7/16 at 3PM.

Just got the shipping notice today with a delivery date of tomorrow!
