Still no news on MY nexus 7

Google wont take my phone call nor will they respond to an email and i have yet to receive any kind of information. People are receiving theirs before me and per-ordered after.

Nexus 7 16gb order july 5 - upgraded from 8gb ordered on the june 28th

Anyone get any word on where there's is at??

I know it isn't the end of the world but all i wanna know is my status not that is in limbo is that really to much to ask when im giving a company 280 bucks???

FWIW I ordered mine on June 28th and still have yet to get an email about it having shipped.

Like EnDroidable I'm curious as to whom you sent an email regarding your order? I'd very much like to reach out to whomever handles Play Store orders for some clarification/information.
 
Well far as the emailing they wont respond from what Ive seen since nothing has been sent to me yet meaning in the last 2 days nothing has been emailed back to me alone with there to busy to answer the phones...
Go to Google wallet
log in
go to transactions
click on your nexus order
There should be a link saying contact Google inc click it
Scroll just before the bottom says email us under the call me button


BTW: I'm not trying to start ANY fights or complaining - i have my own options on this handling of the business and many other people do also....

All i want is information on what is going on with this if anyone has gotten a response from Google- if anyone knows then please feel free to tell us what you know
 
Der, what? Please elaborate.

They will not take my call right now and want me to call back - get placed on hold then a recording tells me there is nothing that they can do to help when your package will be shipped please try again later - something on that line

I'm in same boat not tryed phoning yet but no email cc charge yet ordered 28, it nearly 3 weeks now :banghead:

Sad thing is, i may be mad and all but - im very temped even as a die hard lover of android to send it back even when i do get it, and i only say that because what if there is a major problem 4 months from now and 70% of them have to be sent back - they couldn't even help us out with shipping how will they handle a recall (i know there is a 1%chance of this happening)

All i want is Google to tell me whats going on - plain and simple you cant tell me they don't know the reps mite not know fine but someone has to know something
 
I wish I could have ordered this through Amazon. I love Android, but you can't beat Amazon's customer service.

By the way, I also ordered on the 27th and haven't heard anything from Google.

I ordered on the 28th. Card hasn't been charged. No information whatsoever. I seriously doubt that Google will meet the 3 week deadline on Thursday. I doubt whether it could ship to me by Friday.

Glad I bought one at Staples on Saturday. Will refuse shipment. The faster it gets to me, the faster I can refuse, the faster it goes back and gets shipped to someone else.
 
I got one update - I can no longer find how to get them to call me on there website when i go through like i did earlier
Along with the 8gb version is now in stock!?!?!??!

looks like it has been an availability issue. looks like the 8gb is now in stock but more than likely the demand for the 16gb was far greater than Google had anticipated

I will make the comment as far as to say - ma by if they had forced game stop and office depot to sell the 8gb also there may have been more 16gb's available. Having numeras company's only selling one of the 2 makes people buy one over the other for the fact that, thats all they can buy

Retailers will never sell the 8GB version, because then Google would be taking a loss on each unit sold. The 8GB version is only sold at the Play store so Google can charge you shipping and make sure their margins are preserved.

They have some more room to play with the 16GB version. The extra $50 is enough to ensure that Google and the retailer make a decent profit. And Google makes even more if you pay shipping and buy a 16GB Nexus 7 from the Play store.
 
I ordered on the 27th they charged my card last Friday and still have heard nothing other then the email everyone just got. Called today and the guy on the phone saw they charged the card and still no shipping and he said um... I think we need to put in a ticket can you hold on for 2 minutes. When he returned he said sorry about that and went on a rant thanking me for being loyal and said sorry there is nothing we can do hopefully they will ship it before Friday. Really!

Of course it will happen eventually... The issue is the fact that people who ordered after me already have theirs. It is the fact when I call to ask question I wait an hour to talk to some one to be told there is nothing they can do. It is the fact that Sam's club, GameStop, shoot folk in Europe got theirs before I did. It isn't that I am not patient otherwise I would have canceled and went to a third party. I could go on and on. The bottom line is we have a right to be angry.
