Still no OTA for me.

It's gradually rolling out. I just got the update notification myself, it's downloading as I type (just when I was resigning myself to the possibility that I may have to wait a few days). Just be patient (or do the framework trick, whether or not it actually works, I'm not going to lie, I've been doing it).

Also, my girlfriend's Gnex hasn't gotten the update yet, either.

I've tried the trick at various times of the day all day today and yesterday. No luck for me in Philadelphia. Every combination of the Google Services Framework, restarting phone, checking software update that you can imagine. Unfortunately its the weekend so I'll have more time to play with the phone, which is sad coz I would rather it be a working time so that I can put the phone away and even though I'd be on wifi, check only every few hours. Must...get....mind off...this.

My wife and I have not received OTA notification yet, however I have not decided whether I want it or not, it depends on the number of apps that won't work with JB. The reported problem with tethering apps may be a deal breaker for me, yes I know that rooting and romming solves that but ICS does not require it so I'll decide after I hopefully get enough responses to my thread on apps that don't work with JB.

Central Florida, and still no update for me either. Like everybody else, I've spent an embarrassing amount of time today, rebooting, clearing the cache and data and forcing a close, checking the system update status. Seems like any updates that I've gotten in past years have come around 4:00 a.m. or so. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will happen in the next 2 - 3 hours. :-) Even just KNOWING that an update is coming is a relatively new experience for me. I've always been blissfully ignorant of most issues concerning my mobiles in the past, although I loved my Blackberry Tour, and my Droid 2 Global (and now, my Nexus). Since late June, it has been very interesting learning about Android, and all that has been going on with Apple, and how the various Android-based phone-makers (Motorola, HTC, Samsung) seem to peacefully co-exist, the imminent demise of Blackberry, the Dark Horse Windows phones, the love-hate relationship with the carriers, and the Lord of All.... Google. :-)

Workws for me today in Maryland. I used the trick after try many times without. The trick seemed to have worked. All I can say is just keep trying to force it.

I upgraded to the g s3. So do I need to reconnect my nexus to get the update or will it still get it as long as I can access wifi?

Just a small tip for people waiting for the OTA: Try a battery pull and then clear the services framework and check for an upgrade. I tried clearing it 6-7 times, and it was time to switch out batteries. Tried it again once it booted, and it's installing now.
