If updates keep coming this slow, it's making me rethink getting another smartwatch that doesn't run Android Wear. I really like my S2 though.

i dont get why some people on other carriers are getting it and some are not. isn't it an update straight from Samsung ?

If it's a 3G variant it still has to be carrier approved just like the updates of our phones. Bluetooth versions are or have been updated by regions.

I think I may have used a double negative somehow. I know it runs Tizen. I should have said if these updates come this slow, I'm going to rethink buying another smartwatch that doesn't run Android Wear. In other words, I'd prefer a watch that runs Android Wear.

You go into gear manager on your phone. Then settings. Then about gear. After that you should see update gear software
