As if it isn't already bad enough not keeping those of us who were stupid enough to purchase the Xoom as to what the status of our updates, are, I received the following from Motorola after I sent a message to them via their website as to when I can expect my upgrade.

One thing is for sure, Motorola is a company that does not have its act together. I have absolutely no confidence in them to do what anything that they claim. I have gone from being told that I will receive an update sometime in the 2nd quarter to sometime this summer. Oh and even if we do receive an upgrade to 4G LTE, still no sd card slot.

Motorola is a joke company that can do nothing more than take our money and lie to us.

Thanks for reaching out to Motorola.

The free LTE upgrade is currently scheduled to be available this summer. However, at this time, there are no specific dates that can be shared. If you would like to be notified when this upgrade is available, visit the following website and register to be notified when available:

Motorola Xoom Upgrade - Verizon Wireless

The microSD card capability will be available in a future software update. At this time, I do not have specific details on when the update will take place. I'm so sorry for that inconvenience. Please continue to check the Motorola website and forums as these will have the most up-to-date information. We will post the update and it's detail on this link:

Motorola XOOM - Motorola Mobility, Inc. USA

Note: The Motorola XOOM supports up to 32 GB of internal storage. Please click here for information on how to transfer files to and from your computer:

Yet another complaint post about the same topic. No new information here. Same old info and same old gripe wasting more space on the forum. Both will come when they come and I would rather have them late and right than on time and crappy.

No, that's the same info that is posted in every other thread about the same crap. Post in those.

Nobody is forcing you to read the thread.

So, if we ignore you, does that mean you will stop posting this kind of stuff?

BTW, every bit of information you originally posted has already been hashed, rehashed, regurgitated and forced upon everyone here ad nauseum. We already knew the time line for 4G had changed to summer and we already knew that SD support would be in a future software upgrade (which is up to Google BTW).

So exactly what is your new information?

I'm glad you speak for most everyone. Not everyone knows these things. Again, nobody is forcing you to read, or participate in the thread. Or are you simply looking to troll?

I agree with you! Personally I gave my Xoom to my 10 year daughter. She loves it so now I no longer have complaints.

do what you want but don't call us stupid

I knew exactly what the Xoom was when I paid for it and I knew what it wasn't. Google and Motor will release information when they are ready and not before andi don't think an email is going to change their minds. So I reccomend you sit back , relax and enjoy the Xoom for what it is right now while we wait for the upgrades. Or sell it/put it away thii the upgrades are available...
