Still waiting for an update

I've contacted Huawei several times on Twitter about the broke update that now renders okay Google useless. There generic response is "we're working on an update, it'll be a few weeks". Well now they don't even reply and are ignoring me when I keep asking "when" as it's been a few weeks and then some!

Not even tagging in other phone manufacturers to ask them if they give false time scales work either.

Will we ever see this update and will okay Google ever be fixed?

Wondering if I can go back to my carrier and argue the phone I have now isn't what I was sold?

What network are you on?

There's a lot of people receiving the. 145 update that's rolling out just now that adds face unlock, June security patch and fixes all our Google woes. Seems to be Vodafone customers receiving it first which I'm sure is the same as the last few updates. I'm unlocked but on Three and I saw on another forum that they'd said they were rolling it out over the next few weeks.

It's been that long since I used Google Assistant I've forgotten what it was like.

If you are in the US, the chances of getting an update is close to zero. Other regions will get the updates at some point.

Finally got the .132 update today. Feels great to finally have Google Assistant back. Raise to Wake and Face Unlock are also welcome additions.
