Today's date August 17 and I still have not received the August security update for my Nexus 6p ?

Same here. My wife's 5x and two Nexus 9's got the update the day the OTA was released.

I'm in a different predicament. I have work email on my 6P, the folks that manage our MDM solution have advised NOT to upgrade to Oreo yet. If I check for updates at this point, I'm likely to get 8.0 and not the August patches.

I MAY try to force the OTA through ADB to get it, or just wait for Oreo to be approved at work. Then again, mobile device email isn't critical for my job, I could just do Oreo and re-register once it's approved.
