I heard that the froyo updadte comes with a new stock multi-touch keyboard. How can we use the stock android keyboard with Sense? Not having a multi touch keyboard bugs me.

I really want the stock keyboard. It's much easier to use for me.

I'd prefer the stock android keyboard as well. I had it when I was running a Cyanogen ROM.

Froyo for Incredible has the same keyboard it did with 2.1 with the exception there's no key to remove the keyboard from the screen. It's done now with the back key.

Then why is everyone talking about it? There must be a way to install it or people wouldn't be asking for it.

I think people are asking for it because it's a better keyboard.

The Cyanogen ROM has the stock Android keyboard. Any ROM that doesn't have Sense...otherwise known as a Vanilla ROM...will have it.

you would think the multi-touch KB would be better. but i didn't like it either when i had the leaked 2.2 for a bit. hopefully when the official one comes out it might be improved.

The Droid X keyboard is floating around, and it is multi-touch and usable on the Incredible. However, it doesn't really make that much a difference. I went back to the stock keyboard after using it.

I updated to FroYo on my Evo and i lost the ability to use the droid x keyboard, I really need either that or the vanilla android keyboard. The Evo keyboard is terrible, there must be a way of installing it on 2.2 without voiding your warranty and rooting your phone?
