I am guessing when he or she said, "stock android," that "vanilla android" was actually intended.
You can look. CM10.1 is booting well. The camera works, though I think BT and a few other things don't. There are a few other builds too.
I guess I'm on Sprint and that exists, so you would have to check with your version specifically, but I imagine it is there if you look for it on XDA forums.
Just for the sake of options you can check out CleanRom Developer Edition. It's actually based on the AT&T Sense rom, but the dev has removed most of the Sense elements, leaving behind only the Camera, dialer, MMS, and Contacts apps. It uses Apex for the launcher. So while it's not a "vanilla" Android rom per se, it's meant to give the vanilla feel. I've been thinking about giving it a whirl. Obviously not for Sprint users.
