I searched and didn't find anything on this. Apologies in advance if redundant.

My myTouch 4G came loaded with all sorts of lame apps. I am really not interested in rooting the phone (spent the last year with an unlocked/jailbroken iPhone) and simply wish to remove these apps.

Is there a way to uninstall these without any modification? I still want my OS updates OTA and would rather not get into the mod scene. My only desire is to remove the yahoo/rock band/monopoly lame apps.

Thanks! Loving the Android experience so far.

Rooting the phone is the only way I know of to remove pre-installed applications.

Rooting is the only way that I know to remove the bloatware apps as well. What you may try, although not much of a solution, is that if you use certain (maybe all) launcher apps, they will give you the ability to hide them in the app draw (I know this works with ADWLauncher and Launcher Pro, from personal experience)
