Just got my Thunderbolt Sunday evening. I mentioned battery life issues to the sales rep (VZW Corporate Store), and she mentioned both the LTE on/off app and the stock battery for 50% off. Not sure which app they are pushing.

FWIW, this is my first Android phone, coming from a Casio Boulder. I also have a BB 9650 supplied by work. So far I like all the capabilities, but I need to see what the battery does in the next few days.
