stock battery life drain fast idle state

Hello,
Why my stock battery life drop fast only under idle state? It was a 1 yr old Note 4 from my cousin and the issue doesn't happen with the mpj 6440mah extended battery which I bought recently. Anyone out there ever had this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! If the drain only happens with the stock battery, then the battery is probably wearing down. If the phone was used very heavily over the past year, with frequent deep discharges (i.e., draining it to zero or near-zero), that shortens the overall battery lifespan.

I would recommend getting a new battery. I had the same thing happen to my N4 right around the 1 year mark and once I replaced it with an OEM battery it was like new.
