I haven't done much with entering appointments and such, but I'm loving that no matter what view you are in, you can actually see the wording of whatever appointments, birthdays, holidays, etc. there are. I have been leaving mine on the two week view so I can see everything clearly, and if I need to look ahead, I just swipe the screen from right to left and go forward one week at a time.
