Stock Email App Not Downloading All Emails

So, I"m using the stock email app with my personal IMAP email. It works great in every way, except that it hasn't downloaded all of the email on the server. When I scroll down to the bottom of the list, it say "Download More", or something to that effect. When I tap that, it downloads more.

I know that with the exchange account that I have set up, I can adjust the settings to download emails for a certain period, but I'm not seeing any such option for my IMAP account. Anybody know what's going on there?
