Stock Email App Problem

Yesterday I saved a PDF using the stock email app. Since then my phone has repeatedly download the same attachment, actually 10 times now. Every few hours I'll get a new notification the download is complete. I confirmed this under my files, there it has the pdf name and the subsequent number 1-10in parentheses. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Uninstall and reinstall the email app

It's the stock email client, can't uninstall.

I recently uninstalled my Samsung Stock email app both on the phone and then in my play store my apps and then renown loaded it.

A person can also go into the app settings , its storage and clear app data and cache files to help with issues.
