Stock email app "sync disabled"

Using the S7 edge, noticed that my email will stop syncing every other time. I'm not sure if there is a setting that time-out the sync function or something.

I'm using live.com email. It's really irritating when every now and then you don't receive email, and check realized the sync disabled by itself.

Anyone facing similar situation?

i have a Live.com email in there. where are you seeing it as disabled? in the settings I have the "Sync Schedule" set to "Auto"

U can see the photo. Every maybe 3-4 hours if I don't enter the email app, it will say sync disabled. And I have to enter settings and enable all the sync settings again. It seems that it auto shut off after a couple of inactivity.

Make sure you do not have power saving enabled. It kills sync

All my power savings options are turned off. Not sure what else it could be.

Log in to you email in computer and check settings. Maybe you need to enable mobile phone access?

Like with my hotmail if I log in a new phone I get an email on my back-up email address asking me to confirm the sign in is allowed.

Will try that, normally didn't have any issues with my note 5 or v10 previously.

Will give it a shot.

@OP - I had the very same issue. My Gmail would never respond unless I hit refresh 3 or 4 times even though sync is already enabled. I did a factory reset and redid my phone as if it was brand new and it seems to functioning better now. I seriously hate my S7 Edge. I am going back to my Note 4 as soon as I get my free VR gift.

My Note 4 sim card is now in my S7 Edge and I get Gmail notifications faster on the Note 4 connected to wifi than I do my 4G LTE device. I've had this phone since Saturday and not once have I received an email without hitting refresh 4 times. It is ridiculous. I also noticed a few times on the bottom of the screen it says NO CONNECTION/RETRY even though I have 5 bars of 4G LTE goodness.

Anyways, like I said, I hate this thing and the curved screen does nothing for me. I wish it could throw it against the wall. I'll be returning to the Note 4 once I get my free gift and onto the Note 6 this fall.
