I'm just interested in seeing who uses the stock email app and if there are any benefits to it over the Gmail app? If this has been a thread before feel free to just link to the thread. Thanks

I prefer the Gmail app, and I use it for all my accounts. Gmail, My ISP email, etc.

I use the Gmail app, works good, I haven't seen one ad in there, not sure what the other poster is referring to.

This may be a dumb question, but with stock email can you have both a Gmail and yahoo account on it at the same time?

Not a stupid question. I currently have an 2 Active Sync, TELUS, GMail, Outlook all at the same time.

I use the Gmail app, and have never seen an ad using it. The only issue I have with the Gmail app is that you have to use conversation view, which isn't always easiest when dealing with work emails. I also wish there were a couple more options as far as swiping goes, but that's just me being picky. I've tried the rest and always come back to Gmail.

Using stock app for work email, works great

I use both apps tied to one another for both work and personal. I use the stock app more as its not in conversation mode and easier to reply and send emails. The Gmail is more for archiving and saving emails placed into corresponding folders.
