stock email/calendar app updates

Hi,
I'm new to android and so far I'm liking the change. The best one being the back button for a guy coming from iOS.

I want to know if there are any updates to stock email/calendar apps for samsung S4. If there are, how to install/upgrade them.

Stock Email gets upgrades through firmware updates. S-Planner/Samsung Calendar will get updates either through Samsung Updates (OTA) like some other Samsung apps have gotten or firmware updates. Neither of these apps have "Play Store" links like some other preinstalled items.

I looked up for calender/planner on samsung apps but could not find them.. they have other calendars though..
Just wait for another firmware update I guess... thanks!

As I mentioned, they'll receive updates OTA, or over the air directly from Samsung. They will not be downloads in anyone's store. If you've launched Samsung Apps/Hub, you'll notice they update using this method .
