Stock mail app

Would like to use just the stock email app for both my Gmail and MobileMe accounts. MobileMe works great but I keep getting a "Getting Token Failed" error. Any thoughts?

Do you have the 2-step verification enabled on your gmail account? That caused me issues when I set it up and forgot about the app-specific password for Android.

That's a good question, I set up the Gmail app with just my email address and password. On the stock app it only asked for those two items.
