Stock message app.

Whats the deal with the stock texting app being so bad. I got the new LG V30 and the phone has built in support for T-Mobiles digits phone numbers but only with the stock messaging app. These stock apps are so bad for customizing the colors. Is there any way to change the ridiculous colors on the stock LG app? Who the heck want the ugliest orange color and terrible text boxes.

IS there a way to change the stock message app so I can use the built in digits feature without using the terrible stock message app?

I installed the android messages app from play store, and when I did that it gave me the option to set it as default

To answer part of your question in regards to the colors, I'm using Nova Launcher Prime, so I have it set up how I want it and I downloaded a ton of themes from theme store and I change them around. My phone set-up doesn't change, only my texting app changes colors and my settings menu does too.

That is most likely a problem due to the carrier limits on SMS/MMS messages, not an app problem.

Possibly...but I don't have that problem with the stock app or Textra. I prefer Android Messages but people say the pic/vid quality is bad when I send it to them
