Everyone may know about this already. I may be way behind. It was an "accidental" feature find today of the stock ED05 messaging app (not sure if its TW or AOSP). I think it's a pretty cool little hidden feature, so I figured I'd share, or see if others knew about it.
When you open the messaging app you are taken to a list of people that you have messages going on with. If you quickly swipe your finger left or right across the persons demarcated "lane" on the list it will either dial that person automatically or open the messaging option, depending on which way you slide your finger. Slide from Left to Right to auto-dial, or Right to Left to message. No need to tap their picture and choose one of the options.
