I have been having a problem with the stock messaging app for a while that I was hoping kit kat would fix but after updating the problem persists.
When using the stock messaging app, if I'm using the on screen keyboard for any purpose and I get a message, the keyboard collapses!
It only happens when notifications are on the stock app. If I turn them off or if I use a 3rd party app like Textra it doesn't happen.
I've tried clearing cache, reseting the defaults, factory reset but nothing seems to work.
My question is, does anyone know of a fix? For my own reasons I prefer to use stock so suggesting another sms app really isn't an "answer" I'm looking for.
