My Note 2 is a completely stock version, no unlocking/rooting. Just got Kitkat update a few days ago. I'm not sure if this is an issue caused by the update, I didn't use the music player in the day before or after the update.
While in the stock music player, I will select a song to play and it starts playing normally. When I hit the back key to go back to the list of music, the music freezes/skips for a second, then resumes normally. Pushing back again or selecting a playlist to look at also causes the pause. If I exit the player and allow the music to run in the background it plays normally. But any time I open the app again, it pauses at every touch of the screen and back button.
I've done a few battery pulls, cleared all cache and data from the app, cleared the* cache partition, and Googled it to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated!
