Just a curiosity question-- Which stock apps do you prefer to use on your N7, and which have you abandoned for a third-party alternative?

The twitter app is terrible I use falcon pro or slices. I hate the stock keyboard and switched to swift key 3

I have the cellular version and at first, the native comm manager did fine with moving from cell to wifi to another wifi, etc. Then it got wonky, and I couldn't fix it.

Since then I've been using the free version of WifiManager and it works without a hitch. The paid version adds a quick switcher to the home screen, but the free one (with a link on my home screen) is only a couple of taps if I want to switch which router at home (when both are visible) to us as I move around.

Oops Nova Apex launcher.

The stock launcher is rather bereft of features and has some restrictions that I find annoying.

I use Chrome because it's fast enough. I realize that there are browsers that are faster, but the ability to keep Chrome on the Nexus 7 synced in real time with Chrome on my desktop is really convenient. The gesture typing isn't quite as good as Swype on my Razr Maxx, but isn't bad enough to make me want to install a 3rd party keyboard. Stock Calendar's also good enough for me.

Apex launcher
Opera Mobile web browser
Dsub (subsonic client) for music
BSPlayer for video
Aldiko for books
Swiftkey (hmmm can't remember if it's phone or tablet version)

I'm sure there's others...

If you like Swype, why not install the Swype beta onto your Nexus 7?

These are the only stock apps I use.

Play books
YouTube
Maps
Calculator
Play Store
e-mail/Gmail

Here are my SW replacements for 'stock' apps:
Navigation replaced by CoPilot Live for offline navigation
Play Movies & TV - MX Player Pro - to play many video formats
Auto brightness - Lux Dash - to get better screen brightness features
Crome - Firefox, xScope Pro - to get flash
Android keyboard - Hackers keyboard - to get arrow keys for editing
Google Calendar - Jorte calendar - to get task lists and memos
Play music - Bubble UPnP - to play music from folders

Don't forget apps that should have been included, but weren't:
Camera JB+ - to take pictures and video
ES File Explorer - to explore files
