stock ringtones lack-suggestions?

Apparently it's too much to ask for a standard old school ringtone. Any suggestions where I can easily get one and import.

You can upload anything you want for a ringtone by connecting your phone to a PC and copying the MP3 file into the Ringtones folder.

I go out to Online MP3 Cutter - Cut Songs, Make Ringtones and upload MP3 files and then cut them to make them shorter before uploading to my phones. Nice little tool.

I've made a bunch of ringtones over the years, converted them from their original M4A used on my iPhone to MP3 that's usable just about everywhere else. Sounds great on the S8 Plus' loud speaker. And, don't forget to check out my 'watch' folder that I particularly use for my LG Watch Sport.

When S8 is connected to a PC I am unable to save in the Phone's ringtones folder. Says I don't have permission. I'm trying to save a 400Kb MP3 ringtone.

I connected my S7 and have the same issue.

Yes, I gave permission to read/write when connecting phone.

Ideas?

Cancel that. I resolved it. Couldn't save directly from the Zedge website to the phone. Saved to PC then dragged and dropped and it saved OK.
