Stock rom and rooted 2.3.3

Hey there, I rooted my phone for the wifi and now all i want is to remove all the bloat ware.. such as all the crap sprint put in my phone.. Is there a completely stock rom just with all the bloat ware gone and maybe tweaked for best performance that i can just flash with clockwork recovery? Thanks!

you can go to xda-developers.com they have a fine selection to choose from. if you want sense and gingerbeard i would download Evolved's Rom that you can find a link to here and flash it in clockwork. its GB 2.3.4 and sense 3.0 it is super light and great battery life. check it out!

Okay, I downloaded it just haven't flashed it.. I keep getting an its update on my phone saying something about improvements and what not.. but I don't like ota updates.. it broke my first Android phone when I upgraded and Sprint kept sending me faulty phones.. so I had to shell out the full price for my EVO... So I wanna make sure everything it correct. Do I download this update? Will it unroot me? Is it required for the Rom or just an option? Thanks.

You shouldn't get anything saying it's an update.

Here is the rooted stock 4.24 rom. You want to get the standalone version. Stock apps are uninstallable.

This one is EvolvedRom rechargeD RC1. Has Sense 3.0 and is very nice. Only thing not working is 720p video. Isn't the stock rom, but still nice.

Well, I do get an upgrade option.. its for like. 4.24.651.. I always just deny it when it ask for me download and install it. I'm still just 4.22.651. That is one of my questions.. if I do this upgrade to .24 will it mess my root up and is the .24 needed to use the rechargeD Rom? Thanks for helping me sort this out!

Oh ok. It's the maintain release for the 4.22. No don't accept it. Just keep ignoring it.

Just download a "Root Uninstaller" from the market and keep what you got. No need to flash.

I've heard of root uninstaller, but I was a little scared because I heard if you uninstall the wrong application that your phone might go haywire on you. The more I read into the rechargeD Rom I really like all the features it offers. Is it the same process as what my optimus was to flash a new Rom? Do you go into recovery, then clear system data 3 times in a row, clear dalvik cache 3 times in a row, clear cache 3 times in a row, then make a nandroid backup, then start phone up and make sure everything works correctly, then proceed to flash the kernal?

Did I miss something in my question on flashing? Also, is it a good idea to use root uninstaller to remove all the Sprint bloatware?

I'd just use Titanium Backup and flash the Sprint Lovers. If you find you still want more you can always go to another ROM later. No need to wipe 3 times, just use Titanium Backup to back up whatever you want to be on Sprint Lovers, then wipe data, cache, and dalvik one time, and flash the new ROM. Install TB again from the Market and restore your backups.
