I have tried multiple version of the Stock V ROM on my phone and every single one of them blackscreen on me. I am at a loss as to what to do at this point.

You have the new version of OV and the stock roms you are using are for the old version. The new stock roms are a bit tricky to find.

Here is a nandroid backup posted in another thread by LeslieAnn I used to get back to stock.

222ov.rar

Worked for me but use at your own risk!

The 2220v.rar is not a rom, it's the actual Nandroid backup from a stock newer phone.

The only "stock" (otherwise known as Froyo) rom that works on newer screens is the much older Xionia based roms and Harmonia 1.x. Anything like Bumblebee using a stock kernel will give you a black screen. The same happens with some recoveries, so make sure first, and only do one thing at a time, and fix it before you try something else. I.E. if you flash a non-working rom, don't go flash a recovery as it may not work either. You want one working so you can fix the other.

Thanks Leslie for correcting me.

I should have put it was a nandroid backup I used and sorry I thought I linked to your post but linked straight to file.

i was looking for a stock rom to downgrade my friends OV. she has a newer OV and no IHO rom works properly, they force close and run really bad, regardless of how I flash them.

I knew if I flashed the pure stock rom it would result in a black screen so I was waiting for a nandroid or something from a new screen OV phone.
