Stock Root Question

Quick question that is probably buried somewhere amidst the thousands of posts here: I'm currently running HC v4 off SD, thinking of switching to rooted stock as it seems like it'll be much more stable... however, the market nook app sucks monkey balls - does the stock nook app still run as it does on unrooted nook color? Thanks in advance you handsome gentlemen/gentleladies

Yes, the reader functions the same as unrooted. The difference is being able to load apps.
