Hi there, I hit my stock weather widget to open it up for further detail and it just shows my current city/location.
In my S3 and wife's Note4 there was a "+" button which allowed you to add cities. Very strange.... does anyone else have this issue? or a solution for this? Thanks.

Maybe it's a variable of your carrier...?

I leave the stock weather app (AccuWeather) on the first page as I previously did with my Galaxy S3. Once in the settings menu, I can add another city (using the + key) and then switch between the two on the home page using a swipe.

The part that frustrates me now with the GS5 is that you're forced to keep the "location" on in order to get the weather updated. It seems that if you enter the zip or city (or whatever), the app shouldn't need the locations service permanently turned on.... Or am I missing something?

Oh I've solved the issue.... however not resolved it! I've been running Nova Launcher over the top of Touchwiz and found that the widget was fine as long as I reverted back to Touchwiz. .... however I'm stuck with Nova so I'll need to just get a different widget I suppose. ... there's a small Nova Quirk for you all :) appreciate your interest and help. i don't like the AccuWeather stock app at all.

i replaced it with "TheWeatherChannel" which has several widgets to select from.
you can add as many locations as you wish, and i am using Nova.
