AT&T apps are not going to happen.

The most amusing thing about receiving updates from AT&T is that they continue to issue a bloatload of useless apps that have obviously given someone's lazy nephew a shot at employment.
As soon as you get 4.1.2 you should go forthwith and disable the latest pile:
AT&T DriveMode
AT&T Family Map
AT&T Locker
AT&T Smart Wi-Fi
Mobile TV

Settings / Application Manager / All

On the other hand, my three-year-old loves Paper Artist on our Note 10.1 and Group Play might be useful in the future.

thats half the reason i rooted. you get a lot of space freed up when you get rid of the crapware they put on your phone.
