Stop google timeline, photo album notifications,

I don't want to disable the timeline, I only want to stop the notifications. I also want to stop the compilation of photo albums and related notifications. Would that be accomplished thru the Google Photos or the Gallery app?

When you see one of those notifications, you can swipe down the notification panel and long-press the notification. That will give you a settings icon that leads you to the option where you can turn off that specific notification channel.
